NOVAK DJOKOVIC: THE ULTIMATE CHAMPION OF AUSTRALIAN OPEN

How can I describe you today's final match between Novak Djokovic vs Rafael Nadal! It did not start the way I was expecting. As Rafael Nadal had a great 2 weeks here with an amazing performances, I thought this match is going to be  5 set thriller like it did before. But World No.1 Novak Djokovic started with an absolute dominance and had an early break in the opening set. Rafa Nadal was not playing like he always does, he looked very stressful and I thought his confidence and stress level keeping him a bit weak against Djokernole.

Novak Djokovic won the first set easily 6-3 or we can say he made first set score looked easy. Very hard result to process for Rafa. It was quite clear that he couldn't find his ryhtm, his timing, his game plan even was a bit blurred but I must say Novak Djokovic is the one who kept Rafa in that position. Djokernole mastered all departments in this match: forehands, backhand, service games, dropshots,returns..anything you can think of. Especially his backhands were quite extraordinary today.

Everbody was talking about Rafa's changing service style. It helped him here a lot to get more points but today's match it did not create a lot danger for Djokovic as he is one of greatest guys on tour in return department. Second set was no different than the first one. Rafa was trying his best but Novak Djokovic was too good to pass. Second set 6-2 for Djokovic.

Djokovic vs Nadal rivalry is one of the best one in tennis history. These two had 53 matches before and Djokovic leads 27-25. Additionally these two players have different style in terms of preparing for matches. Novak Djokovic goes with more peace and likes to ease his mind doing yoga, meditation on the other hand Rafa Nadal looks more focused on working hard. I do not say one is better than the other. But appareantly it works very good for Novak Djokovic.

As I always said Novak Djokovic's level of tennis is superior from all of his opponents. When he is fit and healthy there is no other opponent in the world that can beat him. He is unplayable and unbreakable.

Today is not a good day for Rafa Nadal as he came back from an injury and operation. As he performed here superbly here till facing Djokernole but apparently not good enough to beat World No.1!

Novak Djokovic amazes me with his great performance and his great mental strength. He never ever even a moment did not let himself to lose focus on the match. He totally deserved to win this match and become the one and ONLY player to win Norman Brookes trophy 7 times at Australian Open! Getting his 15th Grand Slam title, securing his No.1 spot, he is simply the best now.  He won the 3rd set 6-3 and the match 6-3,6-2,6-3.

One thing I like about Djokernole is that he is open and honest about his feelings and very good at communicating with fans. His ceremony speech was emotional, he really cares a lot to be seen and appreciated by his sons and feels excited about them. Sharing his gratitude and love for his family, his team and especially his coach Marian Vajda was so lovely.

On the other hand, Rafa Nadal is such an extraordinary player for tennis, a treasure. I always love him and his fighting spirit and dedication continues for ever as he mentioned his ceremony speech. He is a different character but absolutely adorable to me. It is always a great pleasure to watch him playing tennis fit and healthy.

I feel blessed and lucky to watch these guys. As I have been watching this sport almost 30 years, it is a bliss and a joy to witness a good tennis and history. Thank you guys.
