Match of the day: Stanislas Wawrinka vs Alejandro Falla

Weather is too hot in Melbourne and so players have very hard times during the day and even in the night sessions. Today i am talking about a night session match in Margaret Court. I must admit that i am a bit late to discover how Stanislas Wawrinka is a talented and A class player. Last year i watched him especially against Djokovic. That match was fantastic , it took 5 sets and the reason he lost to Djoker is that his opponent was believe in himself more than he did, nothing else. He has the best single handed backhand , also his forehands are pretty good, has a good serve, and now as i can see he is more athletic than he was before. The only thing that i can say about him that his mind confuses easily during the match. Today the reason that he lost the 3rd set is just because he lost his focus and let Falla extend the duration of the match.

I think Stan is so talented, it is not easy to be the second player after a legend of all time. Federer is famous all around the world and it makes some time Wawrinka to show himself. But today Margaret Court was full, and i guess it is mostly for Stan. The match was good and really enyojable to watch. Falla is a good player and definitely can be so dangerous if you let him. But the fact is Wawrinka is much better player than him and he deserved to win today.

Today’s match is the first time that two players face with each other. Of course it takes some time to create a game strategy for an opponent. So Stan was very good at his serves, very strong backhands and dominate the game. He will be playing for  the 3rd round match with Vasek Pospisil from Canada. Today i could watch him a bit playing against Aussie Ebden. I think Stan will pass him and reach the 4th round.

Today Venus Williams, Djokovic, Stosur, Berdych and Ferrer defeated their rivals and go to the next round. Tomorrow Nadal, Murray, Federer, Azarenka, Ferrer, Del Potro will be on court. I don’t think there will be bad surprise and they can easily reach the 4th round. I will share my comments as much as i can watch the games. For now have a great day to all :)
