Davis Cup Sunday Storm in Plaza de Toros: Rafa Nadal vs Alexander Zverev

It might be a pretty different match today if Sacha Zverev (20) could start a bit relax and confident. He looked so anxious and stressed even he made his first steps on court. It is very understandable thing for such a young player. Especially when you represent your country not for yourself.

On the other hand, Rafa Nadal is like a Spanish matador today. In Plaza de Toros, audience cheer him up from the beginning, the atmosphere is like a festive, in this circumstances , I couldnt imagine that Rafa will even drop a set!

From the beginnig Rafa made a good, solid start. There is no doubt that he is in good shape, physically he is not having any problem. His serves are good, his first serves in game around  %75 today. As Zverev is 1.98 cm -a tall player- Rafa played so wise with his fantastic drop shots, volleys, low shots that made him having trouble. He was so in control that he made the score 6-1 in the beginner only in 34 minutes!

Second set Sacha Zverev was a bit better in his game and his serves that he could manage to get 4 games as this set went to Rafa 6-4.  Nadal was dominant from the beginnig and he didn't let him feel any better. The match was on his control totally.

I think it was a though day and a match for young Zverev today. It was so visible from his all body language, his expressions and his objections to referee for some balls. As he was 2 sets down , it looked to me that he was not believing himself to change the game and beat Rafa. Besides believing oneself is not enough to beat a champion like Rafa. You have to make every shot from every possible angle perfectly and then you have to pray that he may make mistakes and he is not in a good day :)

Score is 2-2 for Spain-Germany matches. Today there is another match will be played between Phillip Kohlschreiber and David Ferrer. I don't have any chance to watch David Ferrer this season yet but Kohlschreiber is playing good in this weekend. I think he has a chance against Ferrer. We will see which counrty will go to semifinals.
